Hallo Ihr Lieben,
ich bin grade dabei, das Haus meiner Mutter zu renovieren (sie ist ins Seniorenheim umgezogen). Ich möchte mir in dem Haus meine Ausstellungsräume einrichten und jetzt wird alles, was vorher Eiche rustikal war, gnadenlos weiß gestrichen g*. Es geht zwar nicht so schnell wie ich es mir wünschen würde, aber da ich alles alleine mache, braucht das eben seine Zeit. Na ja, Zimmer Nr. 1 ist jetzt jedenfalls soweit fertig. Ich mache einen Raum nach dem anderen fertig, denn wenn ich mir das ganze Haus gleichzeitig vornehme, überfordert mich das schnell, glaube ich. So hat man immer mal wieder ein Erfolgserlebnis und das Gefühl, dass man was vollendet hat.
Und? Was meint Ihr? Es ist faszinierend, wieviel heller der Raum durch das ganze Weiß geworden ist.

Hello lovelies,
I'm curently remodeling my mother's house (she moved into a home for elderly people). I want to turn the house into a showroom for my arts and crafts. And now I'm busy painting all that was dark brown oak wood before in a gorgeous off white colour...lol I would want it to get forward faster, but as I'm doing all the remodeling by myself it takes its time. One room at a time, if I did the whole house at once I would be completely overwhelmed. But this way I see progress more often and have the feeling that I finished something.
Anyway, I just finished room #1. And? How do you like it? It was fascinating how much brighter the room was after I painted it totally white, ceiling, walls and floor.
