Lieblingsrezept - favourite recipe

und hier nun wie versprochen das Rezept von meinem derzeitigen Lieblingsfrühstücksquark:
Bananenquark

1 Banane
1 Orange
1/2 Becker Magerquark (125g)

Banane mit einer Gabel zerdrücken,
Orange auspressen und Saft zur Banane geben
Quark unterrühren - und genießen!
So einfach - sooo lecker!

Frühstück - meine Lieblingsmahlzeit....breakfast - my favourite meal

Guten Morgen Ihr Lieben,
das Frühstück ist definitiv meine Lieblingsmahlzeit. Ich frühstücke meist etwas später, nachdem ich schon 1-2 Std. gearbeitet habe. Frühmorgens trinke ich eigentlich nur ein großes Glas heißes Zitronenwasser, das spült die Leber durch und sauer macht ja bekanntlich lustig ;o)
Frühstück gibts dann so zwischen 9 und 10 Uhr und vor dem Computer. Ich liebe es, mit der Welt zu frühstücken....
Und das gibt es heute: Fencheltee (einer meiner Lieblingstees), Bananenquark (Rezept folgt) und Vollkorntoast mit leckerer Hagebuttenmarmelade....mmmmhh lecker!!!

Good Morning my friends,
well, breakfast is definitely my favourite meal of the day. Mostly I don't eat anything before 9 or 10 am. Early in the morning I only have one big glass of hot lemon water, which cleanses the liver and makes one happy ;o)
And my proper breakfast I have around 9:30 at the computer.I love to have breakfast with the world....
And this is today's dish: Fennel tea (one of my favourites), banana curd (or junket? recipe will follow) and wholewheat toast with yummy rosehip jam....mmmmhhh yummy!!!

Secondhand Funde.....thrift store finds

Hallo Ihr Lieben, ich hoffe Ihr hattet ein schönes Wochenende!
Neulich, als ich Körbe voll alter Gläser (nicht sooo alt, aber trotzdem zu schade zum Wegwerfen) zum Second Hand Laden gebracht habe, fand ich dort diese hübschen Tassen. ich möchte mir eine kleine Sammlung von Blümchentassen anlegen. Sind sie nicht wunderschön?

The other day, when I took several baskets full of old glasses (not sooo old, but too good to toss) to the thrift store, I found those pretty cups there. I want to start a little collection of china (tea/coffee cups and plates etc.) with little roses or flowers.  Aren't they beautiful?

Stoffkaufrausch....fabric shopping frenzy....

gestern war ich wieder mal in meinem Lieblings-Stoffgeschäft (zufälligerweise ist es auch so ziemlich das einzige hier....), und eigentlich wollte ich bloß schauen und nichts kaufen....ähem....leider gab es aber sooo viele wunderschöne Rosenstoffe, die kann man doch nicht einfach liegen lassen! Ich kam jedenfalls mit einer großen Tüte voll nach Hause und hab heute gleich mal ein paar Schals genäht, die es jetzt in meinem Shop zu kaufen gibt.

yesterday I was in my favourite fabric store (and it also happens to be almost the only one here around...lol) and actually I just wanted to have a look and buy nothing....erm...unfortunately they had so many brand new beautiful rose prints, you just can't say no to that! Anyway, I came home with a big tote and made some scarfs today, which are now in my shop.

Amanda fand die Stoffe auch ganz hübsch, anscheinend dachte sie, ich hätte sie nur für sie gekauft...was sonst....

Er ist fertig!!! ..... It's finished!!!

Mein Blumenquilt ist fertig und strahlt heute mit der Sonne um die Wette...

Mögt Ihr Blumenmuster auch so gerne? Also ich könnte alles mit Blumenstoffen, -tapeten, -geschirr usw. ausstaffieren, mein Schatz kriegt da aber eher die Krise....also mussich mich ein bisschen beherrschen....

Do you also love flower patterns as much as I do? I could decorate the whole house with flower-fabric, flower-wallpaper, flower-crockery etc, my sweetheart isn't very fond of it though...so I must behave...lol

Vergängliche Pracht....short lived beauty

Schade dass der Flieder immer nicht lange in der Vase hält. Ich hatte zwar neulich gelesen, dass er bis zu 2 Wochen in der Vase frisch bleibt, wenn man alle Blätter entfernt und die Stiele schräg anschneidet, aber mehr als 3 Tage hat er's nicht ausgehalten. Weiß vielleicht jemand DAS Geheimrezept, wie man diese Pracht etwas länger erhalten kann?

It's such a shame that the lilac flowers don't last very long in a vase. Although I read somewhere recently that it lasts up to 2 weeks if you remove all leaves and cut the stems diagonally, after 3 days it began to wilt. Does anybody know THE secret how to save these beauties for a bit longer?
